Eyecare Opticians is an independent Opticians serving Bromsgrove and the surrounding area.
Based within the BHI Parkside building in the centre of Bromsgrove; we pride ourselves on performing thorough and professional eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment to perform the most comprehensive and detailed eye examination.

NHS & PRIVATE EYE EXAMINATIONS

Our eyes are unique and they provide us with one of the most important senses we have and regular eye checks monitor and maintain standards of vision and provide a vital health check.
We accept private patients, NHS and children of any age.

EYEWEAR

We want it to be easy and affordable for you to take care of your eyes.
We will help you choose from our wide range of frames, lenses and contact lenses.
A complete pair of spectacles start from just £45 and being independent means we have access to a variety of products and lenses so we can tailor them to your individual needs.
We have a wide range of designer eyewear and incorporate the latest in eyewear styles from around the world.

OUR EYECARE SERVICES

From booking your appointment with us through to your examination we are able to look after all your eyecare needs. As an independent Opticians we have the time to really discuss all your eye care requirements in a comfortable and friendly environment.

THE EYE EXAMINATION

An eye examination with us will take 30 minutes which includes a digital retinal photograph and costs £30.00.

An enhanced eye examination is the most advanced eye examination and takes about 40 minutes. In addition to the standard eye test, this includes an OCT 3D retinal eye scan which will provide a deeper and more detailed understanding of how healthy your eyes are at an additional charge of £25.00.

SPECIALIST SERVICES

We also offer many specialist services including:

Dry Eye Management – a disorder where the front surface of the eye is affected which can lead to damage and inflammation.

Blepharitis treatment – a chronic condition involving inflammation of the eyelids.

Glaucoma screening using Zeiss Humphrey Visual Field Analyser and iCare or Goldmann Tonometry

Visual Stress Testing – involving coloured overlays

Myopia Management – using new innovations in spectacles or using specialised contact lenses.

Children’s Eye Testing – we look after the eyes of children, toddlers and even babies.

MINOR EYE CLINIC

The urgent eyecare service (CUES) provides urgent assessment, treatment or referral for sudden onset eye problems such as floaters, flashes, vision loss or red, painful eyes. Patients can self present or be referred to us. This will involve a triage call which can involve being booked in with an eyecare professional or advice to support self management.

OPEN TO ALL

You don’t need to be registered with the GP surgeries to have your eye examination with us. Our friendly Optical team are always on hand to answer any questions and you can be sure of real continuity when it comes to looking after your eyes.

FRAMES & ACCESSORIES

We stock an extensive range of frames and sunglasses which include leading brands such as RayBan and Ralph Lauren & Ted Baker. Our experts are always on hand to help you choose the perfect glasses for you, keeping styles and budget in mind.
